One membership for the household

Yearly includes Apple Family Sharing for up to six people. Free projects stay open. Membership is for the rest of the table — every step, every week, and a studio the household can keep.

Crafty is a studio for the household, not a seat for one child. The adult who signs in holds the account. The yearly plan can be shared the way Apple already shares subscriptions: Family Sharing, up to six. We do not invent a kids-login product. We do not invent a price. Current plans live on the App Store.

What membership opens

• New projects each week, written with care — the full issue, not only the free make.
• Every remaining step after materials and the first instruction.
• Materials lists that roll into one shop, including the Amazon cart for member projects.
• A private studio of saved work and finished photographs.
• Finished-photo cards you can send, when you choose to share.
• Share with up to six people on the yearly plan, via Apple Family Sharing.

The line in the app is the honest one: Free projects stay open. Membership is for the rest of the table.

Two plans, one household

In the app you will see Year of making and Month to month. Yearly is the household plan — billed once a year, with Family Sharing when Apple has it enabled on that product. Monthly is flexible; cancel anytime through Apple. If a yearly trial is available for your Apple ID, the app says so. If you already used a trial, it will not pretend otherwise.

How to share with the household

After you join on yearly, the app walks you through it:

1. On an iPhone that is in the family, open Settings.
2. Open Family, then Subscriptions.
3. Share Crafty with the people in your Family Sharing group — up to six.

Apple’s own explainer is better than ours: How Family Sharing works. Crafty does not replace Apple’s family organizer. We ride it.

That is sharing the membership. It is not six kid accounts with six passwords. The person at the table still uses Crafty as a recipe. Mixed ages still split jobs — tear, glue, cut, photograph — the way crafts for mixed ages actually work at home.

This week on the Home Screen

Same guide, second card. Long-press the Home Screen, tap +, search Crafty, and add This week. If a project is on the bench, the widget says so. Monday has a place to land. The widget is named This week in the gallery. Small and medium on the Home Screen; Lock Screen versions if you want the title on the way into the kitchen.

What you can do without paying

Download the app. Make the free project in the week. Walk materials and the first step of a locked make so you know what you are looking at. Check items off a list you built from a free project. Photograph a finish. Heart something for later.

You do not need membership to be a household that makes. You need it when you want the rest of the shelves, every week, on every phone Apple will share with.

Cancel, restore, manage

Subscriptions are billed by Apple. Cancel in Settings, or from Manage membership in Crafty, which opens Apple’s subscription sheet. Restore purchases if you signed in on a new phone. No one at Creative Greenlight can refund an App Store period for you; that is Apple’s checkout.
